It doesn't necessarily bother me because at the heart of it all is the image and that is what should be appreciated or not. However, I do think people should be honest about whether its a DSLR image or an iPhone image. That's why I tag all mine #iphoneonly - I'm not saying I haven't used other apps to create / edit the image but the image was 100% captured and edited on iPhone. I think people should know that. I have an iPhone album on FB / G+ etc so that images are clearly segregated.

What you might not know is that if you are also a user of Picasa, it has recently been "absorbed" into Google+. Your photos no longer appear on a discreet Picasa page unless you go and actively look for it after you've uploaded- the default is to display them under your Google+ photo tab.
I'm still not sure how I feel about that...

This is an arrogant stance to take and the type that turns people off to photography. Your post is interesting but devoid of social understanding that assumes everyone wants to be an outstanding photog. Very few people want that. Most want to enjoy their lives instead of studying lighting ratios, dof, et al. Me personally, I am very glad for these people and wish I had an iPhone instead of an 5D2; I would enjoy photog much more.

How do you create the mini portfolio? I created an album, but the image only showed up in the stream, and I didn't get these 5 windows with 5 images on top?
